Being a parent these days can be really confusing. We get so many messages about parenting every day – from family members, magazines, books, TV shows, blogs and social media. And more often than not these messages are contradicting to say the least.
My mission with Apparently Parent is to help you find your path in all the confusing thoughts and feelings that you encounter everyday as a parent. That's why I created Your Parenting Values – a short email course that will teach
you all about leading a committed, value-based parenting,
which is the answer to the question
“How do I navigate as a parent in today's confusing world?”
Your Parenting Values is a 5-series course delivered by emails over the span of a couple of week. In that course I teach you all about leading a committed, value-based parenting, which is the answer to the question “How do I navigate as a parent in today's confusing world?”
Your Parenting Values will help you find your own personal values, which serve as your compass. This offers a simple yet powerful way of thinking about what is important for you as a parent.
This concept is derived from ACT, which stands for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. ACT is one of my go-to models in my work as a Clinical Psychologist working with parents, because it helps parents figure out what is important for them and find practical ways to have a more meaningful life.
My name is Eran Katz. I'm a clinical psychologist and a father, and I made it my mission to help you navigate the waters of parenting.
My wish is for you to be the parent you always wanted to be, and to have the knowledge and tools to lead your family in a respectful, loving way.
I'm writing new content every week and by subscribing to my mailing list you can make sure you won't miss a thing.
I HATE SPAM and promise to send only relevant content about how you can make your parenting experiences better
